This is a 3 piece high quality resin kit to make a 2-seater conversion from your fine molds Y-Wing kit. When installing this conversion kit addiotional work is neccessary on the Y-Wing kit so this resin kit is suitable for advanced modelers only! Color of resin may vary. To install the cockpit please follow the steps shown below: |

The housing for the front gear needs to be removed. You are able to build in the gear later to show your Y-Wing model in landing position. But it may requires a higher modeling skill. |

I recommend to close the gear housing with the suitable part from the Y-Wing kit like shown in the image. You dont have to install any helping mounting parts - I just needed then when constructing the master parts. |

The "Hyperdrive System" has to be removed from the upper nose half. Use a micro drill as shown in the image to drill starting points for your fetsaw. |

Now carefully saw out the "Hyperdrive System" part. Use sandpaper to make nice sharp edges. |

Your nose part should look like this after removing the "Hyperdrive System". |

You also need to sand down the mounting lines from the inner side of the nose part like shown in the image. |

There is only a little sprue to remove from the cockpit part. Test fit often before gluing! |

The gunner is a modified pilot figure from the Y-Wing kit with different position of legs and upper body. Figure out the best combination of both figures and seat. Dont forget to install your Y-Wing`s ion canon backwards cause its now fired by a seperat gunner! |
